If you access the App from outside the United States, including from the European Economic Area ("EEA"), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, your information may be transferred to and processed in countries whose privacy laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
Where required by applicable law, we rely on appropriate safeguards provided by our service providers, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or other approved transfer mechanisms.

10. Data Retention
Personal data: kept for the life of your account and erased within 14 days after confirmed deletion or inactivity requests.
Backups: encrypted and purged on a rolling 30-day cycle.
Aggregated/pseudonymized analytics: retained for as long as needed to understand usage and improve the App.
The retention periods above apply to information HiveLogger controls. HiveLogger does not store original Smart Voice Log recordings in a cloud database. The App deletes its temporary local recording when it is no longer needed to provide the associated Smart Voice Log. Third-party service providers may retain or process information as permitted by their applicable terms, service settings and legal obligations.

We secure data via Firebase security rules, network encryption (TLS), Firebase App Check, and least-privilege access controls. No method is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data.
